Corner Computer Desk and Extension Wing Woodworking Plans
If
you've just bought a computer, you probably know
that a writing desk is too small to hold the complete
system. Even if you find a table deep enough for the
monitor, the make-shift workstation will likely take
up more room than you can spare.
Our Corner Computer Desk plan solves this problem by positioning
your monitor against the corner of a room, providing
more desktop area within a smaller space
The main corner unit is 52-3/4" wide by 52-3/4" deep by 30" high. We built ours with layered panels consisting of an MDF core, black plastic laminate on the top surface, 1/4" cherry plywood on the sides and ends, and solid cherry edging. We also used knock-down fasteners for easy tear-down and relocation. This project originally appeared in Woodsmith No. 109.
