Finely crafted details and a bookmatched veneer top
make this chest a real gem. Stand-alone cabinet features dozens of velvet-lined
compartments and a beveled mirror inside the lid.

But more important than all the visual details is the amount of detail that goes
into building the chest. Even though it’s a relatively small project, I
think you’ll
learn some interesting techniques while
building it.
Jewelry chest plan features mortise & tenon joinery and frame & panel
construction. This project appeared in Woodsmith magazine No. 159.
