| Now you can cut perfect half-blind dovetails for drawer and box construction using the Woodsmith dovetail jig. |
Our jig uses wooden cams to hold your workpiece steady so you can apply more pressure against the workpieces. This keeps them from slipping while you're routing the dovetails with a hand-held router. And makes for a tight-fitting joint.
The dovetail jig accepts stock from 1/2" thick to 1-1/16" thick and up to 11-3/4" wide. The jig is 22" wide and 6" deep.
This woodworking plan was originally published in Woodsmith No. 58.
WHAT YOU GET.The Dovetail Jig Project Plan is an eight-page, 1.11 megabyte .pdf file. It includes step-by-step instructions for building the jig, 19 detailed drawings, plus complete instructions for using the jig, and tips for dovetailing.
