| Here's a perfect weekend project that features simple joinery and
easy-to-alter dimensions for making a variety of stands at different
heights. The splayed legs provide plenty of support for large
potted plants, and a ceramic tile top keeps moisture away from
the oak frame.
A unique "loose tenon" technique makes the joinery less
complicated than traditional mortise and tenon joinery. This project
appeared in Woodsmith magazine No. 147.
